Title
HCE Rotopol polarizing unit
Subject
optics
Description
Physical Description
Two polarizing lenses on a hexagonal shaft. The two lenses are each in a metal ring with a hexagonal handle, and the smaller of the two fits in the larger to make a double-ended (dumbell) object. The smaller of the two lenses has a hexagonal ring with a fixed lens, while the larger has a circular ring with a red knurled rotating ring as well as a filter screw thread adapter. 'HCE' seems to refer to a hard coting terminology.
Functional Description
Used to determine the angle of poraliztion of light.
